My girlfriend and I always like to go on an action packed holiday but it is nice to combine it with somewhere which allows you to relax if you want to! We went on a river rapids holiday last year and the only problem with it was that some mornings you would make up in your tent just desperate for a shower and a lie down in the sun! To always have somebody called Max constantly telling you to get into gear is pretty annoying too!

This year we were determined to take it a bit more easy, but we did want the opportunity to do a bit of sports if the opportunity came along. I started to explore some possibilities over the next few days, and came across a place called Fuerteventura in the Canary islands. The place is famous for its water sports, but it equally has a great climate and if you don’t want to tear along the coast line at twenty knots in a laser dinghy then you can just as happily lie in the sun enjoying the thirty degree heat. Sounded like a perfect place to me!

I had a word with my girlfriend and she thought it sounded perfect. I started to have a look around online to find ways to get there and I came across some pretty reasonable Fuerteventura flights. After finding these, we decided to go for it. It was so well priced, and the holiday seemed to offer us everrything we could possibly want from a holiday.
